Our major focus is to keep our exhibits operational where we can - we fly many of our classic aircraft from our base at Tauranga Airport and you can come and see them in action. Meet our passionate volunteers and learn more about what restoration projects are currently underway in the hangar.

More than a living, breathing museum, Classic Flyers NZ also has a stylish themed caf & bar and excellent purpose-built  functions facilities. Our displays are constantly being updated and visiting historic aircraft are often on display. Visit Tauranga's newest attraction and discover what our region and our country have contributed to man's amazing first century in the air.

Classic Flyers Museum is open from 10am to 4pm, 7 days a week, and the Av Gas Caf & Bar is open from 8am to 5pm every day with late nights each Friday.
